The Lab 850 benchtop pH meter was designed to perfectly match SI Analytics world class electrodes. All of the Lab 8xx series
benchtop pH meters feature SI Analytics advanced measuring algorithm specially adapted to SI Analytics electrodes. The result
is a benchtop pH meter which can be calibrated to high precision and provide highly accurate measurements in a shorter time period
than many other benchtop pH meters. The Lab 850 benchtop pH meters achieve their accuracy by using a feature called CalClock. The
CalClock feature provides the benchtop pH meters with a unique combination of sensor evaluation and a calibration timer which controls
all relevant calibration settings. The benchtop pH meter's sensor evaluation displays the pH electrode's quality in increments. The
benchtop pH meters monitor the pH electrode's slope, zero point, and reaction time. The preset calibration interval is displayed
by the benchtop pH meter as a countdown in six steps. When the time interval has elapsed the benchtop pH meter activates an optical
and acoustic signal. The benchtop pH meters can also store up to 800 data records and transfer them to your PC via a conventional
RS232 port making GLP even more convenient.
Lab 860 benchtop pH meter The Lab 860 benchtop pH meter includes all the features of the Lab 850 pH meter and adds a few others. In addition to the RS232 port the Lab 860 benchtop pH meters have a USB interface to transfer stored data directly to your computer. Like the Lab 850 meters the Lab 860 benchtop pH meters can also store 800 data sets with intervals from five seconds to 60 minutes. These benchtop pH meters have a unique 5 point pH calibration function to allow for extremely precise pH measurements. Lab 870 benchtop pH meter The Lab 870 benchtop pH meter includes all the features of the Lab 850 pH meter except for data storage. In addition to the RS232 port the benchtop pH meters have a USB interface which allows them to send the data directly to your computer via either of these two communication ports. This allows the benchtop pH meters to be easily handled and integrated into automated systems such as LIMS. The Lab 870 benchtop pH meters include easy documentation which comply with GLP. The benchtop pH meters automatically recognize which electrode is attached and the person using it. The pH electrodes use the latest microtechnology to enable the storage of calibration data in the electrode to be read by the benchtop pH meter. For each measurement the pH electrode logs into the benchtop pH meter with its ID (type and serial number) and sends its calibration data to assure that only the sensor's specific data is used to calculate the measured value.
