| The AN400, Portable Anemometers, measure air velocity in five units of measure: feet per minute (ft/min), meters per second (m/sec), miles per hour (MPH), kilometers per hour (km/hr), & nautical miles per hour (knots). The portable anemometer's low-friction cup vane freely rotates in response to air flow. An internal thermistor allows the AN400, Portable Anemometer, to measure air temperature in Centigrade or Fahrenheit units. The portable anemometers are shipped fully tested and calibrated and with proper use will provide years of reliable service. The AN400, Portable Anemometer, has a built in datalogger that will store up to 100 air velocity or MIN/MAX readings. The portable anemometers also have a data hold feature for freezing the display. To conserve power the portable anemometers will automatically shutoff 10 minutes after the last key is pressed. The portable anemometer's housing is water resistant to protect it from rainy environments. The portable anemometers use a cup vane arm to measure air velocity. |
